WRMC Cycling was founded as a joint venture between the cycling community in North Central Arkansas and White River Medical Center. WRMC wanted to show it's support and community involvement throughout the region, while at the same time, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

Even though White River Medical Center is the major sponsor, other groups also support the club, and it's efforts to promote cycling, as well as provide financial support to various organizations in the area. 

WRMC Cycling currently sponsors and promotes the Syllamo's Revenge, a mountain bike event on the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail, that contributes to the US Forest Service for future trail construction and maintenance, and is a major sponsor of the Sheriff's Youth Ranch Hilly Hundred Road Ride that supports the AR Sheriff's Youth Ranch.

WRMC Cycling is also in the process of developing a "Bike's for Kid's" program that will introduce cycling to the youth of North Central Arkansas, who, because of financial reasons, are not able to enjoy all that cycling has to offer.
